Dr. Michael Janis: Individual full-day check-ups for patients with high expectations

01

CHECK IN

We welcome you to our practice.

02

ANAMNESIS CONVERSATION

Obtaining your medical history is the basis for further testing that day. If available, please bring medical reports, laboratory results and examination findings. If you are taking medication or have allergies, please let us know.

03

IMMUNIZATION STATUS

Please bring your immunization record so we can determine your immunization status. If necessary, we will vaccinate you at a follow-up appointment.

04

EXAMINATION

The physical examination is one of the cornerstones of any medical practice, along with taking a medical history. There will be a complete physical examination as part of this health screening.

05

BODY FAT MEASUREMENT

Bioimpedance analysis (BIA) is used to measure body composition very accurately. This method is not a pure body fat measurement, but a more differentiated analysis of fat, muscle and water content of the body.

06

ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION

Ultrasound examination is used to examine the brain-supplying organs and vessels, such as carotid arteries, thyroid gland, lymph nodes, as well as the abdominal organs and kidneys.

07

LABORATORY EXAMINATION

Laboratory testing is of great importance as it provides a lot of valuable information. The laboratory examination includes a blood test and a urine and stool examination. Please remain fasting until the blood sample is taken.

08

PAUSE

During the break we offer hot and cold drinks.

09

REST ECG AND LOAD ECG

ECG stands for electrocardiography and refers to a method of examination that measures the electrical activity and rhythm, as well as function of the heart.

10

LUNGS FUNCTION TEST

Spirometry is a test that can be used to check the function of the lungs.

11

VASCULAR DIAGNOSTICS

Determination of the ankle-brachial index (ABI index) is used for risk assessment of cardiovascular diseases. The test is very valuable in detecting peripheral arterial disease (PAVD).

12

INDIVIDUAL ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTICS

Based on your medical history and the examination findings, further diagnostic tests may be necessary

13

PERFORMANCE DIAGNOSTICS

Performance diagnostics includes examination and testing procedures that provide information about your current state of health, resilience and performance level.

14

DISCUSSION OF THE FINDINGS

The findings are summarized by a specialist and discussed with you in detail.

15

DETAILED REPORT

After all examination results are available, you will receive a detailed written medical report summarizing all examination results and making recommendations.

16

COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT
